We take pride in casting hundreds of young performers and adults—often entire families—who share the stage in our lively productions. Founded in 1995 by creative duo Bob Gribas and
Angela Rinaldi-Gribas, Variety Plus brings together youth and adults in a supportive, multi-generational ensemble, celebrating diversity, creativity, and mutual respect. Through original musical adaptations and inclusive productions, participants build confidence, develop skills, and create lasting memories — both on stage and behind the scenes.
Who is Variety Plus Theater?
Founded in 1995 by creative duo Bob Gribas and Angela Rinaldi-Gribas, Variety Plus brings together youth and adults in a supportive,
multi-generational ensemble, celebrating diversity, creativity, and mutual respect.
Through original musical adaptations and inclusive productions,
participants build confidence, develop skills, and create lasting memories — both on stage and behind the scenes.
Bob and Angela bring over 35 years of experience in the performing arts, having toured throughout the U.S. and Canada
with renowned organizations such as Missoula Children's Theatre, Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, and Small Change Theatre.
They've also led programs and productions with respected institutions including Seattle Children's Theatre,
Youth Theatre Northwest, and Spectrum Dance Theater.
To date, they have written, directed, and produced over 30 original musical adaptations of classic tales —
including Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, The Odyssey to Excalibur, Snow Queen, Pinocchio, and many more.
These productions not only entertain but serve as a platform for youth and adults to learn, grow, and shine together.
